The jurisprudential choices of Imam Zain al-Din al-Munaja al-Hanbali (d. 695 AH) on reading in prayer from his book (Al-Mumti’ fi Sharh al-Muqni’)
Abstract
Praise be to God, Lord of the worlds, and the best prayer and peace be upon our master Muhammad and his family and companions all, and after:
I have studied the choices of Imam Zain Al-Din Al-Manji (may God have mercy on him) in reading in prayer from his book (Al-Mumti’ fi Sharh Al-Muqni’). Personality, and I divided it into two demands: The first requirement: his name, his birth, his nickname, and his lineage, the second requirement: his family, and his death. As for the second topic, I dealt with the scientific life and I divided it into three demands: The first requirement: his request for knowledge, his works, and his method, the requirement. The second: his scientific status: the scholars’ praise for him, the third requirement: his sheikhs. And his students, and as for the third topic, it dealt with reading in prayer, and I divided it into three demands: The first requirement: the ruling on the one who did not improve Al-Fatihah and was tired of learning it, the second requirement: the rule of seeking refuge in the second rak’ah, the third requirement: the ruling on reciting Al-Fatihah in prayer, then Conclusion and sources.
