Abstract

This research examines jurisprudential issues with dual perspectives in the Shafi’i school, particularly in the chapter on Hunting and Slaughtering in Al-Imrani's Al-Bayan (d. 558 AH). It aims to clarify differing opinions within the Shafi’i school, compare them with other schools, and identify the most authoritative stance, with relevance to contemporary issues. The study explores three issues with two perspectives each, and includes Imam Al-Imrani’s biography, definitions of perspectives, and scholarly influence. It concludes with a summary, recommendations, and a bibliography.
