Abstract

The research examines the impact of restrictions on the temporal meaning of verbs in Qur'anic texts through syntactical analysis. It is divided into three sections: the first discusses the effect of restrictions on verb tense meaning, the second studies the variation in tense (past vs. present) and its impact on meaning, and the third focuses on the passive voice construction. The study begins with an introduction on the concept of restriction and concludes with the research findings.
