RELIGIOUS DEVIATIONS IN ANIMAT-ED MOVIES AND THEIR IMPACT ON THE BELIEFS OF MUSLIM CHILDREN
Abstract
This study aims to identify the forms of religious deviations in animated movies and their influence on the beliefs of Muslim children. It adopts an analytical approach to provide a precise analysis of the patterns of some religious deviations in a sample of animated movies, shedding light on the dual impact of these films on the minds of Muslim children. The study concludes that these movies serve as an important source for enhancing children's imagination and creative abilities. However, some films may promote concepts that contradict the cultural and religious values of the Islamic society, posing a threat to the beliefs of Muslim children. Therefore, it emphasizes the importance of evaluating the content of these movies before exposing them to children.
