Abstract

This research explores the sensory imagery patterns in the poetry of Mahmoud Farhan Hamadi from the perspective of the senses (sight, hearing, smell), which played a distinctive role in portraying the poet's image. These images intertwined with rhetorical devices, leading to a clear impact on words and evoking emotions in the reader. The researcher employed a descriptive-analytical approach to extract the various patterns and meanings related to poetic imagery, contributing to a deeper understanding. The study concluded that poetic imagery has a unique way of expression in Mahmoud Farhan's work, drawing inspiration from elements of knowledge that enhance its meaning and impact on the reader.
