Patterns of Sensory Imagery in the Works of Mahmoud Farhan Hammadi
Abstract
This research explores the sensory imagery patterns in the poetry of Mahmoud Farhan Hamadi from the perspective of the senses (sight, hearing, smell), which played a distinctive role in portraying the poet's image. These images intertwined with rhetorical devices, leading to a clear impact on words and evoking emotions in the reader. The researcher employed a descriptive-analytical approach to extract the various patterns and meanings related to poetic imagery, contributing to a deeper understanding. The study concluded that poetic imagery has a unique way of expression in Mahmoud Farhan's work, drawing inspiration from elements of knowledge that enhance its meaning and impact on the reader.
