Abstract
Abstract: The current study aimed at identifying the impact of the role-playing strategy in consolidating the information on the Islamic education subject among the fifth preparatory grade learners and the obstacles to its application. To achieve this goal, the experimental approach was used, where the study tools consisted of a program of Islamic education lessons prepared according to the role-playing strategy, and an achievement test in the same subject that was applied to (60) learners. the results showed that there were statistically significant differences in the mean scores of the two groups in the post-measurement of the academic achievement test in Islamic education for the experimental and control groups, depending on the teaching method, and in favor of the experimental group. In light of the results of the study, the researcher suggested conducting studies related to the difficulties of implementing the role-playing strategy and developing a proposed vision to solve them. He also recommended multiplying specialized courses in the field of modern strategies in teaching, including the role-playing strategy.
