Sensing light in the poetry of Nasih al-Din al-Arjani(died 544 AH)
Abstract
In this study, we seek to reveal how light is sensed with its natural and industrial sources in the poetry of Al-Qadi Al-Arjani, by tracking the employment of the sense of sight, which represents the main focal point of sensing, and the meanings added to it by the poet that go beyond the limits of direct perceptions of lights to what is the deepest idea and significance of the recipient. The study was divided into two main sections: the first included talking about natural light sources, including the sun, the moon, and stars..., while the other included talking about artificial light sources, including candles and lamps. .. Relying on the descriptive analytical approach, with the help of some technical and psychological features, to best understand the dimensions of the poetic text and its semantic perceptions..
