Abstract

This study dealt with an important origin of Arabic grammar according to one of the eleventh century grammarians، Sheikh Ibrahim Al-Qassab Al-Rumi known as (Ibn Al-Qassab) in his book (Al-Azhar). in which he explained the book (Explanation of Secrets in Grammar) by Imam Muhammad bin Bir Ali Al-Barkawi، who died in (981 AH).This study came to highlight the distinguished scientific efforts of the personality of Sheikh Ibrahim in the grammatical explanation of what his book has the importance of being the first to explain the book (Al-Zahir) by Imam Al-Barkawi. Then the explanations followed after him until they exceeded forty. Because of the importance of the grammatical reason in the Arabic language، as it explains and consolidates the rulings through which the judgment is placed on what is required and what is not, and what is permissible for both، and what is desirable and reprehensible in its permissibility. The book of Al-Azhar was distinguished by the abundance of grammatical explanations, so it was necessary to present a thorough study of this scientist to deal with the grammatical reason in the dependencies.
