The Differences Between Joseph And Moses Stories - peace be upon them- Comparative Objective Study.
Abstract
The summary of the research on the differences between the two stories of Joseph and Moses، peace be upon them، centers on the fact that there are different faces between the two stories. His birth and upbringing in Egypt، as he grew up in an urban environment، and one of the differences in the boyhood stage is their loss and separation from their parents and then meeting them. Motives for disposal differ between the two stories; The motive of Joseph’s brothers to get rid of him was motivated by envy and jealousy. As for the motive of Pharaoh and his soldiers to get rid of Moses and kill him، it was the fear of the boy of the Children of Israel and the face of throwing Josephinto the well was on the part of his brothers، envy and maliciousness، and hatred for him. As for the aspect of throwing Moses into the sea، it was from his mother that he loved، tenderness، care and compassion for him، just as the fear and sadness of Jacob over the loss of his son differs from the fear and sadness of a mother Moses for the loss of her son، and the facts and reasons for the father’s meeting with his son are different from the mother’s meeting with her son.
