Abstract

The judicial system took a great place among the Jews, And he took various forms, shapes, and means from the system of retribution, stoning, flogging, and others, In the beginning, Musa, peace be upon him, presided over the judiciary of the Jews, and he began to manage their social, political and economic affairs, So the Jews followed the priestly tribal judicial system, and after the death of Moses, peace be upon him, he took over the judiciary of the Jews, Joshua, peace be upon him, after the end of the time period in which Moses and Joshua, peace be upon them, took over the judiciary, the Jews took over the judiciary among themselves, and in every region there was a judge from among the priests, They are elected by the chiefs of the people, and the tribal chiefs had a prominent role in the judiciary, and the judiciary was somewhat stable during the time of David and Suliman, peace be upon them both. As several administrative and social changes took place in the judiciary, and the reason for these changes was the kingdom of the Jews flourished.
